Movie Review: Koe no Katachi

So tonight, I decided to watch a movie.
At first, I was going to see if Endgame was around, but no luck.
So I tried looking for Shazam - no luck there either.
Thus I settled for whatever I could get my hands on, in which I found
Koe no Katachi ( ๆ˜ ็”ป ่ฒใฎๅฝข ), or A Silent Voice...
And oh my goodness... I think I cried three times through it all... no less than two for sure. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Sure, it was long in my opinion, but that's just something I've noticed about movies like this - they feel slightly dragged for the sake of the plot they need to cover without going into episodes.

Anywho, without spoiling too much of the movie for you, I can say with confidence that I cried because I related to both main characters here - one in regards to something in their past, and the other their general lack of self-confidence.  Sure, there were things that I wished they elaborated on more, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think that's what the movie was about - it was about something else altogether and they focused on said thing really well, which is why I stayed for the long-haul.

Yes, it is a two hour movie, but I would recommend it anyway -
just make sure you have tissues ready... or something you can cry on/with - whichever. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Dreaming Again

For the first time in a very long time, I have a dream, but I'm sure there were two.

The first dream was me traveling with someone: we were in a house and trying to go to sleep, but there was a mess everywhere, in which I wouldn't go to sleep until the mess was resolved.  After we did get some sleep, we got up and I think we were trying to catch a train... I think... I suppose I'm not very good at remembering the first dream on the account of the second.

The second dream was me either on the battlefield before going to the village or in the village itself.  The part I remember the most clearly was when I went in and before I could say anything, a spew of arrows flew over the wall and one landed on a villager, hitting him square in the forehead and killing him.

Personally, I find this all really weird because last night I did a questionnaire in regards to deliverance.  It specifically asked if I had any kind of dreams, in which I realized I haven't been dreaming... and for the record, I don't believe in coincidence.

Pat Robertson: Dungeons & Dragons Demonic, Destroys People's Lives

My Comment
So not one of you have actually had your life messed up because of these games?
If not, then it must have been the favor of God on your life and the grace he pre-ordained...
Truth be told, I can't take Dungeons & Dragons lightly anymore. Five years ago, I got involved with a satanic man who played these games (the games I myself played with him was Pathfinder and Vampire: The Masquerade).
Even though I repent of what I did, the demonic aspect hasn't been totally resolved. If anyone out there sees this comment and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, please pray for me and that every demonic force be torn down in the name of Jesus. If you know the name of the demon(s) behind the games, I would appreciate that too.
If you aren't a believer, please consider getting saved, because no one can save themselves: that's why Jesus had to come in the first place.
If you play Dungeons & Dragons or any tabletop game of the like, I'm warning you now to stop while you are ahead. Not only is it very demonic, but the other reason why it's so destructive is all of the time you have to invest into it just for what people call a "meaningful experience".
Take it from someone who tried it - it isn't worth it!!!

The Crazy Day of a Customer Representative

So today was hectic, and I blame myself for it.
A male customer wanted to redeem a survey coupon.  He had told me when he was ordering that he wanted three McChickens and wanted to redeem the coupon.
After reading back his order the first time, I can't remember what he said, but it was something along the lines about the order not being right because of the price.
Thus, I fixed the order and after some questioning (which might have been where I made my error) I asked him if the order was supposed to have been for four McChickens altogether.  Low and behold, that was what he wanted.

After exchanging money and giving him his change, he asked me if I always had this attitude.

It was then I realized that I must have made some mistake, for he then proceeded to tell me a few things...
#1. This wasn't the first time that the attitude in question had been displayed from me
#2. He wasn't the only customer, which I understood because there were a few customers in the past that said something about the said attitude
#3. If wasn't going to have a good attitude, I should have been in the back

I told myself to not get upset or allow my emotions to get involved because if I had allowed myself to get terrified and cry, it would only make the situation worse.
I can't say that it helped the situation because he demanded a manager, my name, the store number, and even the corporate number.

Where were my emotions in all this?
They weren't there: now that I think about it, I feel like a sociopath... or at least I did until I had some time to myself.
Now I just feel physically ill.

One of the people that I work with didn't really help matters: she asked me if I was worried the manager was going to do anything.  For some reason, that question felt like a horse's hoof hitting me in the chest.
After thinking it over, I told her that my trust wasn't in the manager - it was in God.
It was God who got me this job, and it will be God alone who decides if/when this job ends.
If this was how God wanted me to close this chapter of my life, then so be it, okay?

I suppose this means that I do have feelings about the situation.
I feel bad for what I did, but I can't take it back...
I admit I did wrong and just have to try better next time...
Even if that next time is decided by God to not be there.

SNS (12-29-18)

Saturday Night Synopsis
December 29, 2018

Before I begin, I heard that Toonami would be doing a New Year's marathon of Boruto and a couple of other things... point is that it was huge turn-off for me.

๐ŸŽฅ Shaun the Sheep ๐Ÿ‘
I wanted to start things off with something that I didn't watch before.
Why Shaun? Well, it looked like a cute movie with a side order of nostalgia.  Curse of the Were-Rabbit wasn't bad, and I kind of hoped for something like it from Shaun because it was made by the same people.
Sorry to say this, but I refused to force myself to the end.  I'm not saying the movie is good, but I'm not saying the movie is bad either... primarily because I didn't finish it.
I only got 20 mins in and I just wasn't into it... I felt like I wouldn't be giving a proper synopsis if I didn't genuinely care...

๐Ÿ“š Aozora Pop: Chapter 4 ๐Ÿ“ธ
I finished chapter 3, and it's nothing amazing...
Just emphasis to how she's sneaking around behind her father's back to pursue her dream.
Mainly, the chapter is about the picture revealed in chapter 3, and all that's really important about it is how the main girl and one of the photographers lost contact with one another.
Other than that, it's mainly the leading lady talking about her fear of being left behind again by a certain someone in addition to extra feels towards that freaking love triangle... ๐Ÿ˜“

๐Ÿ“š Boku no Hero Academia / My Hero Academia: Chapter 175 ๐ŸŒŸ
I decided to read a little because I was curious about what happened to Eri... apparently I got my answer.  In addition, it looks like they are preparing for another villain.

Look, I know it isn't much for the last week of the year, but I've made up my mind that I wasn't going to force myself this time...
I can only explain what's going on with me is like a fire in my chest...
It's not for anime, it's for God...
And I feel like if I don't answer that call, I'm going to be torn apart from the inside.
Any Christian who is passionate about God would understand a little bit to how I'm feeling right now...
Anyway lovelies... Happy New Year.

๐Ÿ’ค Sailor Moon and... Vegeta!?

I think I had two dreams, but I'm not even sure anymore...

Anyway, I was in this huge shopping mall: by huge, I mean like at least three levels, but I think there was four or five.  If you happen to remember the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon... well, I was with Usagi.

She was looking for someone.  I had assumed it was Tuxedo Kamen, but when we actually got to the man, I had second thoughts... you see, I'm pretty sure it was a black man that she found and started confessing her feelings for.  Long story short, things didn't go well and as she went after him, he tried to lose Usagi in the crowd of people that was there that day... which was a lot. ๐Ÿ˜“

As her friend, I tried to keep up after Usagi but I did end up getting lost in the mall.  Exactly how much time elapsed, I don't know, but I do know that I did find Usagi again.  As expected of her, she was eating, but there was a sad look on her face that told me that the rejection beforehand was still bothering her.

Once I got to her, I tried to comfort her in what happened.  She insisted that everything was okay, and instead of being sad, we should go out to the mall.  I knew she wasn't okay, but what she said sounded good - it would have been better if we did something instead of just moping around.

We did stop at something, but I don't remember exactly what it was.  I imagine that it was for children because all of us got caught in this unexpected huge slide.  We tried getting back to the top, but either I was caught by Seiya or it was Usagi that was caught by Seiya and I was just seeing that in her perspective... although I'm pretty sure it was Usagi's arm that Seiya caught... ๐Ÿ˜‚

Exactly why it stopped here with them, I'm not sure, I just know that it went outside the mall with Bulma and Vegeta... who was in this weird conversation... about Bulma making her mind about showing Vegeta how to use the bathroom... because for some reason, if she doesn't, then Vegeta will never be able to show Trunks...

Look, the dream was weird, okay?
Just... weird... ๐Ÿ˜‚

Akkun to Kanojo

Sooo... someone insisted that I watch Akkun to Kanojo... or My Sweet Tyrant.
And... I've got to be honest...
I only laugh like this to Saiki Kusuo no ฮจ Nan... ๐Ÿ˜‚
I have to skip over the theme though... Don't want to get tired of it too quickly, you know?

However, I will say this...
I couldn't put the anime down - I wanted to watch more and more episodes...
And I was forced to stop at episode 25 because that was the last one... ๐Ÿ˜ญ
